When was the branch founded?

The ‘NIBRSA’, was officially founded in July 2001, after Blackburn Rovers supporters decided to form an approved supporters branch. The first branch trip was in November 2001 when Blackburn hosted Liverpool. Matt Jansen scored to leave the scoreline 1-1, whilst Northern Ireland international, Keith Gillespie played a positive part in the full 90 minutes.

How official is the club?

The club is formally registered and is recognised as an official supporters branch with Blackburn Rovers. £18.00 – individual full season application
£35.00 – family full season application (up to x4 persons)

Membership is due each season and will expire on 1st June at the end of the respective season.

How often does the branch arrange travel to watch Blackburn?

As a club in general we travel over several times each season. Our own club has a travel category, which is divided into three sections, these being Premium travel, 2nd class travel and economy travel.
